Social Media Posts
Social Media Posts present both a unique challenge
and a unique opportunity.
On the one hand, you can reach a HUGE audience with each post.
On the other hand, you are competing with thousands of other images.
We are bombarded with images all day, every day.

To get their attention, your posts must stand out from the crowd.
Here are some examples that I created...

Lead Magnet Post
A lead magnet is used by businesses to attract new clients to a website and/or get them to subscribe to a mailing list.
The most successful lead magnets provide the prospective customer with value.

This can be:
-
something that helps them like answering a common question or giving advice on a common problem
-
giving something away free
-
offering future benefits, like a discount or bonus
The Holiday Greeting Post
A beautiful image with a heartfelt greeting - no gimmicks, no demands - creates a warm fuzzy feeling with your viewers or followers and will often be shared with friends and family.
This creates an opportunity to get your business in front of a brand new audience.

This example is simple and casual and uses warm fall colours.

Seasonal Prompts
Life gets busy. People loose track of upcoming events.
A gentle reminder can promote your business in several ways:
-
remind them that they have an impending purchase to make and ensure that your business is in mind in connection with that purchase
-
provides a sense of urgency that will often prompt them to do something they have been putting off.
-
catches their attention while also providing a helpful piece of information (value)
Seasonal Promotions
Seasonal Promotions are a good way to:
-
provide good value
-
attract new customers
-
promote seasonal products or services
-
improve customer relations
-
target specific audiences (like last minute shoppers, bargain hunters, or early bird shoppers)
This example was created in part as a lead magnet.
It is designed to prompt small businesses who may need help with their social media presence.
This post gives them an idea on how to approach the coming holiday season as well as providing an easy and inexpensive solution.

Coffee Therapy
A Social Media Post can be as simple as a really amazing photo with a captivating caption.

These posts were created for a small business whose goal was to build their following on Instagram. Their secondary goal is to generate sales and promote a secondary part of the business. They now have a coffee trailer available for special events.

The images do most of the work, catching the audience's attention and spurring a caffeine craving.
The copy is used to pull it all together and provide information in the companies unique brand voice. Building a brand, and giving it a voice helps customers remember you and builds customer loyalty.
